Set Coreplayer as default - Motorola Q Forum

Hello, I am new to this forum.
I have a moto q global and have installed the new version of core player for it. I love the player. It works nicely.
The phone comes with a WMP.....which kindda sucks for playing movies.
Anywayz, my question is........ How do I make coreplayer my default player for movies and or music. I have been trying to figure it out for a while now.

in the player find and set the file associations..

go in to the options and then file association and make every file associate with the program

I have the new version. When I go to menu then 7 for options, there is no file association. Where can I find this?

Figured it out. This is what I did for future reference, in case anybody has the same problem.

To set CorePlayer Mobile as the default player goto: 'tools > preferences > select page > file associations' and select all then press ok. All files are now associated with CorePlayer Mobile.

that would be correct...and its the same for TCPMP (the free version of the app)

How does the Coreplayer compare to the .72RC version of TCPMP? Are the essentially the same?

essentailly yes they are the same
core player you pay for and you can use youtube without the hack and TCPMP is free and you use the hack for youtube

those are the differences i know so far
(i use TCPMP)

can't see the skin while in fullscreen, no loss there
