Removing ringtone size limitation (Q9H)

i got in there now had to use the cab

This thread rocks. And this comment in particular. I was tearing my hair out trying to find the key until this piece of fine print jumped out at me.

To repeat, if you're reading this thread this far down: SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN inside of Sounds.

ok, so i have had my Q for like a month now,
i downloaded a regedit once already and deleted
the filesizelimit file. i recently master cleared my
Q. I redownloaded the regedit to fix my phone so
that i can use longer ringtones again but the file
isn't there. So i should be able to use the longer
ringtones since its not there. right? wrong!..i still
can't use the longer ringtones and the file isnt there.
help? anyone?

woo hoo! i figured it out. the file was not showing up
in my phone, so i uninstalled the regedit that i had and
installed "CeRegistryEditor" and went into the files off
of my computer..it was much easier and i found the file!!
everything is working now! :D
