Default Quiet ringtones?

Any fix for quiet ringtones? Volume is on loud and I am using .WAV ringers...

amplify them.. for example with Audacity. or don't you hear them at all ? you know the Q9 has a max file size limit.. (search)

No, I can hear them. It seems as if the phone was originally louder before I did a master reboot to remove the stupid anti-virus software. I will give Audacity a try though. Thanks

Nope not any adjustments. Is it just me experiencing this issue? Are your guy's ringtones loud or very loud??

Profile's set to 4, but the individual volume depends on the gain setting the song was recorded and ripped with.

Have you used audacity and can you recommend to what # I should amplify to? All the way?

I use steinberg's MP3 Pro (doesn't exist any more, and steinberg makes professional audio software), but if you amplify all the way that can also cause distortion, try around 75% first and if that doesn't work go up from there.

I use an online tool http://makeownringtone.com
With default filters it produces excellent ringtones with perfect loudness.
