Default Q9h Global and Garmin Mobile XT

Does anybody have the Garmin Mobile XT on their Q9h?? I'm looking for reviews on it. I had Garmin Mobile on my previous Sprint a900 phone and I loved it, worked perfectly. So I've been looking around for something like it for my new Q.

I've got it - it does work and works fine on the Q9h. It even interfaces with my Parrot 3400 car bluetooth adapter so when navigation prompts come through they mute the stereo and broadcast over the car's factory speaker system.

The only problem is that the map display of the Garmin system is almost unuseable - I'm hopping that iGO software via oncourse navigator will be updated for Windows Mobile 6.0. Great interface.

Default questions...

So the Garmin Mobile XT maps and stuff come on a memory card right? Do you get some kind of automatic updates via Internet or do they send you updated memory cards?

I just want to make sure I'm always going to have updated info as far as navigation maps and stuff.

Thanks!

Default updates aren't free or automatic...

No - updates are not free or automatic - garmin, tomtom, all of these vendors will notify you when new maps are available if you want to endure their other emails to you. Or you can just check back every so often on their websites.
