Default Q9h charging voltage

I recently purchased a portable lithium-ion battery to charge my Q9h while I'm out (www.powerstick.com). The backup battery is 5 volts; the Q9h uses a 3.7 volt battery.

Does anyone know if it's safe to use a 5v battery to charge the Motorola Q9h?

Thanks.

Ok, with the website you gave, it was for the USB charging dongle.

If thats what you bought, its a nice idea and all, but why don't you just plug your phone straight into the laptop with the cord that is packaged with it ???? You are buying something you don't need, at least not with this phone.

However, you said you bought a backup battery, which wasn't on that site, so I'm confused.

Perfectly safe, the wall chargers (and USB) also output at 5v. there is is circuitry in the phone to compensate for this difference.
