This maybe a dumb question, but on my Nextel Moto i860 you could set your own profiles. In side your set ones you could use a call filter and only allow people in your phonebook or a selected few callers go though. The others would be transferred to voicemail. This was helpful with blocked callers or private callers. Is there a way to do that on the Q?

Nope, you need to install a 3rd party app. Look into Photo Contacts Pro 5.0, I just read up on it and it has those features.

and/or check out Eye on Call, or maybe Phone Guard, lastly there is Mag Call which i use...
