Need Help Phone Dialing Keypad | alpha entries

This might well turn out to be a DUH! question, but I won't know that till I ask it, right? So here goes!

Re: Phone Dialing numbers
(the ones with the blue numbers and a blue band on the top edge)

Is there a specific way to dial the alpha numeric sort of numbers? Eg: 1-800-COMCAST. Right now I struggle with numbers like these, if I dont have another phone nearby with the letters for each number (2ABC, 3DEF and so on and so forth!)

for the letter dialing you should be able to press Fn and the corresponding letter. At least it works on my Q9c.
or install dialpad.cab (should be on rb's apps page)

Does the DialPad.cab from Rudeboy's app page work with the Q9h? If so, that is what you are looking for.

Hi, Paco. This is how it works on my husbands BB. It's the only thing I like about that phone!

Soon...soon...NE2 up in December. (I have a coupon to upgrade "early", so I'd get the Q9c free, but I really love my current Q!....Getting something else would feel like "cheating" on a spouse!)

@ Rudeboy:

Does Dialpad.cab work with the Q9H?

Update:
My impatience does get me into a knot many times. But I just had to get this thing going!!

I got Dialpad.Cab file from RB's collection.
Installed it.
Power Cycled off and on.
Now when I dial a number, I get the numbers, 2 through 9 with the corresponding letter in small keys at the top of the screen.

So, people, it works on Q9H.

Life is sweet!

Thanks Rudeboy for this app.
Thanks Sherri for pointing me to RB's app list.
