Default PCP 5.04 and SMS

I am running Photo contacts pro v5.04 on my Q9h.. and I cannot get SMS messages to vibrate only a sound plays...

I have checked the settings and tried both "vib and ring" and "vib then ring" and neither will make it vibrate...

Is anyone else having this problem and/or know how to solve it??

Thanks

I'm on the original Q and I did the following:-

1. Opened Photo Contacts Pro 5.04
2. Menu > Manage > Profiles
3. Then I've set the SMS Type to 'Vib and Sound'
4. Clicked Done

After completing that I sent myself a text message and it rang my SMS tone and vibrated.

Never did that before but I think I'll keep it like that now!

Just for S&G's, how do you guys like the PCP 5? I am debating whether this would be a good app. Thanks for any input. BTW, can you stop the message alert tone? Like if you have a rather long alter from SMS, can you hit a button on the phone to silence the alert?

Well you may not be surprised to here that it's my favourite app and yes with any length alert once you acknowledge the arrival the sms tone will be silenced.

The addition on sms tones also being used for emails is great and the smart photo setting make setting photo's simple, you just use firstname lastname.jpg and move the photo to the correct folder and it will automaticaly get assigned.

I've subsribed to to a few different free sms alert services including ESPN, CBS, 4info and when each of them arrive I know what it is without even having to look at my phone.

All in all I think it's great!

Craig
