Many of the panels are disabled. The Welcome center is one of them.

In CHome Configurator, go to Menu, Panel, Disable and uncheck the ones that are checked for whichever you are interested in.

Someone posted on how to do this earlier for Windows Live with an registry edit but this is probably the same thing but easier.

Hey, totally new to panels and customization in general, but all I'm looking to do is remove some of the AT&T specific stuff from the IM/Messaging panel. I'd also like to remove the default loaded IM programs that I don't use from the panel. Anyone know if these can be edited, or should I just create new panels with the stuff I want in them?

Create a new panel with the stuff you want and hide what you dont. Its just the easiest way. I only use 3 of the original panels The main time one, the messege center and settings. the rest are my own made up ones

is the setting panel the one with the profile selector in it? I accidently deleted the panel with the profile selector and would greatly appreciate it if someone could send me the settings or how to setup the profile panel again so that it says the name of the profile in the panel. I was able to add the profile again to a custom panel but i have to click to see what profile is active. Thanks!

didn't think you can delete that one. may have to reinstall CHome. or you can try to just add it to the xml file and see what happens first. the panels are listed at the bottom of the xml file. type , Settings after one of the other panels.

under the internet link template, action URL would be :MSPIE;http://www.everythingq.com... any idea how to change this to open with opera instead of IE?

Default Adding an unlisted application

I haven't seen anyone ask or answer this.

I'd like to add an application to a panel but it doesn't appear in the application list when I select Template -> Application Launcher.

Specifically I'd like to add c:\windows\bandselect.com so I can easily switch between 3G and Edge.

Any hints?
