Thanks, I did not know that.

But I don't think that is the answer to the problem. Those should be bold because they are active on my home screen and they are grey'ed out. There are also several panels that are bold that I do not see. e.g. Welcome center, MyFaves, and Windows Live...

I'm sorry, I dont have an answer for you except to try setting all to visible, save, exit and reboot the phone a couple of times.

the best way to set the panels you want is to edit that HS xml file and save it under a different name. that way it will stick.you also have to make sure the plugin is not disabled and showing.

Is there a list of what system icons correspond to the numbers that are used in configurator?
There is a panel titled settings and one of the pages displays the battery. I don't really need it, but the iicon is a white X on a red background. The number assigned for that is 2305 and now I'm curious as to what it should be and if there is a list out there for all the icons that are not part of config and the additional icon pack.

no list. to edit them, you will need to edit the registry keys. you can change some of them in chome. have to type a path like
\windows\mail.png;\windows\mail1.png
something like that. don't forget the ; . it is 2 icons, an active one and a waiting one.

I'm not referring to the icons for the panel. I meant the icon(s) that are specific to the individual pages on the panel.
If there is a settings panel with five pages, each page has a different icon that represents the application.
It's that application icon I am referring to.
Hope I was clear.

same thing. the ones you can edit, you can change in CHome. the others like "settings" have to be done in the registries and the battery one is one of them.

Any idea how to get rid of the "Profile: Normal" collapse text for the Settings panel? The actual CHome input box for Collapse Text is blank and greyed out, so I'm not sure where it's pulling it from. I want to use that panel, but I hate having the text there constantly when the panel is not active.

if it can be done, its in the registry. something is telling me you can't. check the setting/pages registry.
