No native Copy & Paste - HUGE disappointment! - Motorola Q Forum

I haven't gotten Vito, Right Menu, Scissors, or any other solution to work on my unlocked Q9h. This is a HUGE failing. I use Copy & Paste all the time, and it's driving me crazy.

Very iPhone-esq to omit such a basic feature from a smart phone. Looks like this thing is going up for sale to make room for a Nokia E71, or perhaps even a Blackberry Bold. Is Copy/Paste functional in WM 6.1?

FYI, copy & paste is functional in WM 6.1. Funny thing though, even the new IPhone doesn't have copy & paste, imagine that!

yeah, its on there, but i find it hard to use

As a T-Mobile user with an unlocked AT&T-branded Q I may be waiting quite some time before I get the WM 6.1 update!

With the iPhone not doing Copy/Paste or MMS I can almost write that off as Steve Jobs' being stubborn and eccentric. How long has Apple been insisting a one-button mouse is just fine? I'm a dedicated Mac user and even as a fanboy I find this incredibly stupid. A one-button mouse was fine in 1982. Now it's a joke. Thankfully I've been using Logitech mice with my Macs for many years.

My wife loves her iPhone, but then she's a dilettante with no serious communications needs. A toy is just fine for her. I rely too much on my smart phone, so a missing feature as big as Copy/Paste is a killer.
