Default newbie q9h owner questions

Hey everyone, I just got a q9h and im enjoying it so far but trying to figure it out and get it working the way I want it.. a few problems I've had...

1. When I open up calls, can it default to an all calls view?
2. When I go to text messages, can it open to the folders view so then I can select, inbox outbox, etc?
3. On the main screen is it possible to either have the line which shows your selection, be transparent so it does not block the background? Using Windows Basic theme... I wouldn't mind using the simple theme as long as when I toggle the view I can get appointments and text message notification on the desktop..

thanks, will be browsing for mods to the Q

I figured out #3 and have been able to find some home screens and create my own..

Another thing I've noticed is that when I open a text it starts with the name, but I can still scroll up to see the time and other details of the message, can I have it open directly at the top?

Suren, I'm having the same problem with text messages/emails. It starts with the name and I have to scroll up to see the time/date and other details. Hopefully someone here will have an answer for us!

we'll ive still got no solution to any of those and it kinda sucks if you ask me.. but I figure there has to be a way to tweak these two preferences for text messaging... anyone care to point me in the right direction?

It doesn't sound like there is. And I haven't seen anything in the registry to tweak it.

im learning to live with the fact that the alignment is off, but i figure if i can find out the path when i click on text messages and change that to the path used for the all folders view (ie sentbox, inbox, outbox, drafts, and trash). Then in theory everytime i click on text messages it will therefore direct me to the view of the folders... anyone care to comment/critique?

What you're talking about is programming the Windows Mobile OS itself, which well, isn't probably going to happen. Even if you could get into it (which is hard to do and why we can't cook 6.1 into it now), to find those lines is like finding a thumbtack in a haystack.
