Hey everyone, Im new as well and want to ask about the camera quality. How is it? Is there a macro/auto-focus feature? I'm debating whether to ditch Rokr E8 whose cam is very nice for a moto since I forsee using Q for everything else for sure. Also, can HSDPA be turned off to conserve battery life while surfing the net?

Welcome to EQ! I can't speak to the camera quality on the Q9h since the Q9c has a different camera, but we do have a thread for pics taken from the Q so you could see for your self.

I bought a Q9h about two months ago. I have no problem with YouTube vids. No hacks, no additional software.

I have mine running on 3g exclusively, which uses HSDPA. I see no difference in battery life between that and the default setting, which runs mostly on edge.

So how long does it last you and how much are you online? I'm getting this guy namely as a powerful phone with powerful life, so I'd want it to last a few days of mederate usage on 1 charge.

Everyone seems to say that they get less battery with the 3G. But honestly, I notice no difference

This phone should last at least a few days on one charge. But I can't get it that far. I use my phone every chance I get. While at work, during my breaks, I can be using a number of apps. Usually slingbox, resco radio, IM, and of course IE. I am also running STK and Facade. So realistically, my usage would last no more than two days on a single charge. Heavy usage of slingboox and resco radio will bring that number down to one day. I can't give you an accurate count, as I always charge it overnight while im sleeping. But as I stated before I see no significant difference when using 3G.

I checked out the camera @ local ATT store and its somewhere in between what I would want and what I'll seriously pass on. Only thing remaining is to actually GET my bloody package tomorrow and try this guy out. Also, those on ATT PDA/SP connect, could you tell me the IP you are connecting to? I want to see if its different from Media net's IP.
