You're wrong, unless you have or are talking about a phone other than the Q Global (AT&T's branded Q9h, all others are just Q9h's).

The Q Global Master Reset, found under Start>System Tools>Master Reset, will only reset your internet settings, your homescreen settings, etc. It will NOT affect your registry settings, or your contacts, or any of your files.

This has been verified by myself and others in various threads. Please stop posting incorrect information, as it will only confuse more members here.

It's only confusing if you can actually figure out the spelling/grammar. [/snark]

Thanks for your help, mexiken. You have helped me on many other things, you just didn't know it!

I'm quite calm actually. Its very easy to get confused with these terms, especially since all other phones do something different with a Master Reset. I just wanted to correct you because you post often and if you're going around with the wrong information, thats just not good obviously.

For example, I wish people would refer to the AT&T Q9h as the Q Global, because most developers do, Moto does, and thats the name in all of AT&T's press stuff, but alas, its never going to happen. The working title was the Q9h, the European version is officially named the Q9h, and internally, the model number is technically the Q9h. So I know its not going to happen, but I wish people would, so itd be less confusing as to which model specifically you're referring to.
