Looks like Motorola went cheapo again on the silver buttons. The silver paint on the center button of my first gen Q peeled off, and turns out the silver finish on my nav button is coming off as well. I had high hopes that this wouldn't be the case. Oh well, I guess.

Yeah, I am having the same trouble. They just don't make cell phones like the used ot (which is both good and bad I guess.)

I rememer that my old nokia 252C was so tough. it took a tumble into the toilet, and didn't even loose the call I was on, now a humid bathroom can damage these things.

I guess that a few cosmetic blemishes are a fair trade off for being able to put so much technology into your hands for only a couple hundred bucks.
