my Q9 is resetting itself!

ok, so my dad got himself a Q9(why the hell does he need such a fancy phone, only god knows). so to celebrate the occassion i downloaded hebrew support from eyron.
now the moment the installation finished the device restarted itself, and hasn't stopped doing so since.
to be precise and detail oriented, i see the at&t splah screen, then the screen turns off for a few moments, then i see it again repeate.
i tried the hard reset(red button plus the center button as the wiki generously tought me) but it doesn't seem to do anything...

anyone having any suggestions?

With the phone off...
Press Z and E (and hold both down) while you then press power button as usual to Power on.

Then wait patiently for all to reset to factory defaults.
