My first international trip with this phone

I called in 2 days after i got my phone and they gave me the unlock code with no hassle.


As for a prepaid sim being cheaper, I agree, but i need my same number and my company pays for my phone

Yeah, I was actually going to say that, however I didn't want to disappoint you. Some csr's aren't aware of it, some don't care, so it is worth a try. I was just saying, technically, they have a right to say no. Glad they didn't for most of you.

So I am in Singapore now and I had a layover in Tokyo. I can confirm that the AT&T Q9h does NOT work in Tokyo. It works perfectly in Singapore and roams to service with M1. My data, email, texting, and calling all work great.

Oh and it's 88, sunny, and beautiful here. I may never come back to the 0 degree (-27 with wind chill) junk weather I left in Chicago.

I enjoy dessing up like an atric explorer just to make it to the mailbox. Unfortunately these mittens prevent me from using the GPS properly and I have gotten lost on occasion going to said box :-/
