Motorola "Q paks"

When I purchased my motorola Q 9h (global) fromm AT&T I received a coupon to download a free "Q pak" from a motorola web site. But, when I try to access the web site it asks for a username and password. Has anyone beenn able to download a Q pak? If so, how did you do it? Thanks

I know. It just started doing that today. I tried it the other day and it worked fine but now it asks you for usrn & pswd just to go to the page? Dosent make sense. Anyway, here is the link.

Thank you very much. I have tried calling Motorola tech support and e-mailing them and have yet to hear back. I am glad to see this board is more useful than all of motorola's support

I too have been unable to download my QPak. I selected the "Road Warrior" pak, and received an SMS with the appropriate link. Here are my observations and experience:

(1) The QPak "cab" files can only be accessed from the Moto Q device. Presumably, this is due to the browser's identifying the session as one from a handheld device.

(2) The download link in the SMS message appears to contain username/password info which, again presumably, is accessible from a handheld device. The login info, though, appears to work only when the link takes the user to the default browser.

(3) The mini-Opera browser appears to be the only one on the Moto Q which can access the login information. If the mini-Opera browser is disabled as the default browser, the link opens the mini-IE browser which takes the user to the login screen.

(4) When the mini-Opera browser is used in its default configuration, the link correctly accesses the download, without stopping at the login screen. However, the download process continually stops, and must be resumed. The several times I have been able to download the entire "rw.cab" file (about 1.2MB in size), the file is corrupted in some way, and so does not install. I have noticed this download behavior in other cases of downloading files (HTTP download) with the mini-Opera browser. Using the mini-IE browser will overcome this problem. Unfortunately, using mini-IE in this case takes you to the login screen, as mentioned above.

Very frustrating.

The Q pak is just a set of software Motorola is offering free use of for a year with the purchase of the Q9h.
You get to pick one of three different "paks". One is geared towards business people, one towards "head of household" and one is basically games.

Just downloaded my QPak. Nice jesture for Motorola to include some free software with the purchase. I picked the Road Warrier(Business Package) it came with...

-Zagat to Go(restaurant, entertainment, hotel guide)
-Splash ID(secure pswd manager)
-QuoteStream(wireless stock market application)
-WorldMate 2007(mobile travel services)
-MidNight3D Pool(Really cool 3D pool game)

Overall I'm happy with my choice.
