Can anyone tell me if the OEM cradle (SPN5420A) can be used with the extended battery?

Yes it can. Better yet, it can charge either of the batteries at the same time the other one is charging in the phone.

Found this with a quick google on the part no:

Is it exactly the same as the one you ordered in spec?
Checking if the price difference reflects on the quality.

It does not come with the power supply that is why it is cheaper.
