Moto Q Global - Interrupt Text Alerts??? - Motorola Q Forum

Has anyone found a way or a mod on a Moto Q Global to stop a text alert once it has started similar to how you can stop a ring. I have my pages forwarded to my phone as text and have a 30 second pager.mp3 tone that I used which is annoying if you can not stop it. I have tried Pro Contacts and Ringo they do not work. I love the Q Global but do not use it for that reason.

no there is no way
pick a shorter tone is the only solution

2 options...power off phone, and my personal favorite...pull battery. You need to make a shorter ringtone!

Wish they were all an option. If I do not have the phone in my pocket I can not miss a page. also at night as I am on call 24 hrs I need to make sure it wakes me but want to turn it off as soon as it does.

Thanks I try it but it does not work on the Motal Q Global platform

well...that sucks. As long as you didn't enable the LED stuff. I heard that messes the whole program up.
