Where did you see the folder view ???? I can't find it. | Not sure what you mean mexiken.
WMP > now playing > menu > library > menu > library
In this library folder you can choose between My device or Storage Card.
Is that what you were asking? |

Thanks so much!!!

Is that what you were asking? | When I do this, I get the Library which gives you: My Music, My videos, my tv, my playlists, now playing. Now, if I hit menu and library again, I get an arrow which says, storage card when expanded. No options to view files by folders. |

No options to view files by folders. | If storage card is already selected under library, then just click My Music. This will show you media from your sd card. Under My Music, you should see All Music, Artist, Album, Genre.
If my device is selected then selecting MY Music will yield media from your phone.
But that's weird, because when I hit library mine opens a drop down containing "My Device" and "Storage Card". Unless you used that hacked that puts My Device to SD card. I don't know how that would affect wmp. |

I don't know how that would affect wmp. | Well see, heres the thing. BEFORE, I had the ringtones in the device, and the full songs in the storage. So, I didn't even bother making playlists, because switching between the 2 gave me what I needed, essentially, a seperated playlist. But then, I moved the ringtones to the card, so updating the storage card library gave me the full songs along with the ringtones, all under my music. So, they weren't seperated anymore. But, with that little app, it allowed me to make playlists based on folder views and such. Pretty cool.
And yes, I did do that hack. Theres no ringtones on my device that aren't on my card, so no need to save them there. |
