Default Lost Voicemail Speed Dial

Hi,
My phone recently "reset" itself, and I have brought it back to where it was except for two issues. I just posted a thread in regards to the other issue, but I also lost the ability to hold down the "1" key and go to voicemail. In my settings it has the correct number for my voicemail, but in the speed dial settings, the 1 key is blank and I can't seem to update it or add anything. Has anyone had any luck with this. I have searched the web and this seems to be a problem for a few people, but with no answer.

Thanks

how do I do this? Will the number be restored, or will I have to re-populate it at that time?

If you have a Q9h, it is under start > menu > system tools > Master CLEAR
All other Q uses Master RESET.
Password is 000000 (six zeros)

Note: will delete all your data.

This will delete and reinstall all apps that came with the phone to factory. You would not need to re-populate.

I dont see how a reset is any kind of solution. Rebuilding the phone is not a solution to many.

It's always a last resort. It worked for me when I had your situation. But please feel free to post if you find another solution. I would like to know as well.

You can try a soft reset by removing battery and sim card. Leave them out for a while. I dunno like 30 mins. Dunno if it works. Just seen it posted before. This will supposedly restore factory settings without deleting data.

Try going to:

Settings>phone>call options>voice mail number:

and put *86
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
as far as i can tell you cant set a "speed dial" to 1 but maybe the number in Settings is gone. Could be a simple fix.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

btw. *86pXXXX where (xxxx) is your voicemail password and never have to imput it again!

I think that number will be carrier dependent right? I have Att and the voicemail number is different.
