Default lost reception.. :(

help. i dont know whats wrong. i wanted to post here before i call at&t. this is the second Q i had to get from at&t. the first started freezing and shutting off by itself. i got it replaced and all seemed good up until 2 days ago when i started loosing reception everywhere. it would be ok then reception will be lost and never come back. even in areas that i was always fine in. have anyone had that problem?? its going to suck if i have to replace it AGAIN....

Sorry to hear your troubles and welcome to EQ. I have experienced this problem myself and it is very annoying and I don't know what causes it but its rolling and not permanent for me so I deal with it. AT&T has told me that sometimes they work on the system and towers and stuff and it causes intermittent issues, I think frankly its a bull response but no way to prove otherwise. Hope you get your problem resolved one way or another. good luck.

thanks. they told me the same. that it could be due to a tower in the area. but i told them how could that be if my husband , family and friends all have at&t and none of them have the same issue. since the phone is still under warranty, they are going to replace it once again. so i will have a new q in 2 days. hopefully 3rd times a charm! lol

I hear you, my sister has AT&T and while I was having problems, she was fine but then again she was using a basic phone that does not have all the features of the Q, so that might be one reason but who knows. Wish you luck and hopefully third time is the charm, good luck.

well.. i got my 3rd Q. not even a week with it and it already started to mess up on me. the screen would turn black and i would have to turn it off and on. the screen cut down the middle and half of it was black. it also started freezing yesturday. i had enough of dealing with it. its a good phone over all but come on.. 3 Q phones in less then 6 months!! so i went and got myself a new iphone. no more q phones for me. i was thinking of calling motorola and seeing if i can get something for this phone. i paid a lot for it for it not to work. but yeah... just wanted to update everyone.

Yeah, the Q has turned into a disappointment for me as well. I don't like the way its so temperamental. I had an iPAQ and for 3 years didn't peep once. I am thinking about dumping my Q as well and going back to HP and get iPAQ 910. Check it out here, its awesome: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en...0-3551665.html

I'm sorry you guys are having a rough time with your Q9h's. I've had mine for 6 months and I still love it. Do you think it's just poor quality control? I've outfitted all my engineers with the Q9h and everyone loves it.

It worked fine for me that long too...just wait. One day it just decided while giving absolutely no error to stop syncing and now nothing works which makes it a useless paperweight.
