Maybe our all knowing friend mexiken can comment without calling everyone a douchebag for not having worked for cell phone companies. |
Well I responded to the Australian fellas comment in his post. As far as I know, here in the states, when your phone says 3G, its using either the W-CDMA data side, or HSDPA. I don't belive the phones are set to delineate between the two, in order to not confuse customers. BUT, I could be wrong. I don't know whats actually programmed into the phones, this is just based on my experience. I've been to the first HSDPA tower constructed in the LA market, not with the Q, but with a 3G phone, and it didn't switch to H, so I (and most) don't really know which one you're using, "U" or "H"
And its not about working for the company, its about reading. I took it upon myself to KNOW about the company I worked for, so I read.
