Default How can I add a folder to my Q9h email?

Ok, I'm going to jump in here and ask something that I asked at the end of another forum topic but I'm not sure anyone has looked at it. I hope it's ok to do that. I just want to be sure someone sees this.

Here's what I'm trying to do. I have an e-mail account (AT&T Yahoo) that I use on my laptop as well as on my Moto Q 9h. I have my Q set up so that the messages are not deleted from the server. That way, when I get home at night, the messages are still on my laptop, and of course, once I delete them there, they are deleted from my Q the next time I use my Q to download messages.

So.......sometimes I want to save one of these messages on my Q. I've read the thread 'Adding folders to email inbox' and the suggestions there don't work for me. I tried going to my Yahoo browser online and adding a folder called 'saved' in my email account and it shows up there, but I cannot get it to show up on my Q, ie. can't sync it on my Q.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks,
jb0615

AT&T Yahoo is POP. Can't do it with POP? How about if I use Flex Mail or something like that. Could I do it that way?

Yahoo has a "premium" e-mail account that is $19.95 a year. If you have this type of account, you can set your e-mail to do IMAP with Yahoo instead of POP3, and as treefrog mentioned, you can sync any or all of your folders if you are using IMAP. I am doing this on my Q9h and it works just great.

uhm... Yahoo is by default imap (free), if you get the Premium email you get pop3 & you can still use imap.
