Default GPS - Q 9h NON global

Hello, I have a Q 9h NON glogal (NON AT&T). is there any way to have GPS?

I know Google Maps but it waste GPRS.

Any other way?

Live search? it has maps from all over the world? Does not it spend GPRS?

Pretty much any of the GPS software packages makes use of your data plan to download maps.

Even ATT Navigator does.

Garmin Mobile XT puts the map in an sd card. No data needed. There are others. But this is what usually comes up when this particular question is asked.

i have tried garmin but as i do not have gps, it is continiously searchibg a gps connection and it does not find, you cannot do any other thing, neither navigate the maps.
any other solution? thank you

I see, I assume then that you have a European Q9h. I think those phones did not come with GPS. So you are going to need to look into purchasing a bluetooth gps receiver on top of the garmin xt.
