Now, I'm playing with features. Got my email account set up.

Now, trying to figure out how to group contacts so that different groups have a different ring tone. I hope that's possible, as I have some contacts that I always answer and some that I can ignore at times.
Wait... what did you do? Let me get this straight:

1. Stick new sim card in old phone
2. Save contacts from old phone to new sim card
3. Stick new sim (with contacts from old phone) into new phone

This will automatically download ALL contacts from new sim to phone memory???? Sweet!!!

But that means you HAVE to get a new sim card activated first. But very useful info. Thanks!

Step by step:

  1. Went to old phone contacts settings. Found "copy all contacts". Selected it. Then chose "Save to phone." Display showed it "copying".
  2. Then replaced old phone SIM card with SIM card from new phone.
  3. Went back to contacts settings and again chose "copy all contacts" but then chose "Save to SIM card." Watched display as it copied.
  4. Put new SIM card into new phone and VOILA! All my contacts were there!

So when you put the new sim into your Q9h, it copied all contacts from new sim into Q9h phone memory automatically?

No, I left the contacts on the new SIM card, because I couldn't find a copy all command in the Q menu. But they DO all show up on my contacts list so that's all that counts.

Oh I see. Thank you for clarifying. I'm glad you got it resolved.
