Default Earpiece volume issues....

A question regarding my AT&T Moto Q Global........while on a call and listening to somebody speaking, any noise picked up through my mouthpiece reduces my ear-piece volume to virtually nothing.......is this normal?

This makes for very choppy conversations. Is there a setting somewhere that lessens the mouthpiece's sensitivity......is this a full duplex phone?

Thanks......

That's odd, I have only noticed it doing that occasionally when on speaker but ok the rest of the time.

Yes, the speakerphone is a full duplex phone. And of course, the regular mic is full duplex as well.

As a test, for instance, while picking up voicemails....I can blow into the mouhpiece....and the ear-piece volume virtually shuts off for an instant.

Figures....guess this unit has issues.

Looks like I'm SOL....

I appreciate your replys...thanks again.

Just to cover all bases,

You keep saying "earpiece" and "mouthpiece". You're not talking about a headset or an earplug used as a handsfree device are you? Because if you are then, though the phone is full duplex, the handsfree device may not be.

if ^ that still doesn't resolve it. Motorola does have a warrantly in case you don't have insurance thru your carrier. Can't think of how long its for, my remember(er) is broke. You can go to their website to find out for sure.

I bought the unit outright from an individual so no carrier help there....I'll give Motorola a yell.
