Deleted the email so can't fwd but I did click on the link and noticed the WM6. Priced about $35-$40 if I remember right.
yup you are correct...
there it is...for WM6 only...couldnt find it because i was looking at WM5 Q but looked under Q9h and there it was the last one under 'document management'
and its $49.95

so then if you have a WM6 device you can purchase it at www.handango.com or get documents to go for $29.95

OK...so now I am back to the original questions..."Is it better to keep it or get Microsoft Office Mobile? If I go with Microsoft, can I change the default app to the Microsoft Office app (or will it when I install it)?" I guess the question is really, has anyone tried the new office and do you like it?

well like i said before...if you like docs to go and it works then keep it. if you need to upgrade to a new docs to go to get Office 07 to work then its still cheaper at 30 bucks than Office 6 at 50 bucks

yes you can make office 6 your 'default' office program...but you do it after its installed

well then i guess it comes down to personal preference

office mobile is a microsoft product so it should support the actual files that much better

and from being in the forum the docs to go people arent the 'greatest' with tech support...then again im not sure microsoft would be either...lol

but i do know that after a new release comes out docs to go no longer has tech support for you or allows you to upgrade for less than full price...(myself and rudeboy)

I'd say go for the MicroSoft Mobile. I got the email this morning and for $39 it's worth it. Not sure if a discount code will work with this application - or if Handango even has one out right now.

I got the same email.

The new version of Microsoft Office Mobile support all Office documents except Access.

Designed for Windows Mobile 6 it does sound like it is work the money.
