Default Disabling System Tones w/Bluetooth

I have just picked up a Motorola Q9h from AT&T and paired it up with my bluetooth headset, the Aliph Jawbone. One of the more annoying things is how it pushes the system tones like message alerts and the ringtone to the headset. I looked in the device properties of the headset and there wasn't anything to control this. In short, is there a way around this or a hack to correct it?

Thanks!

No option there. I can only change the profile settings like the ringtone, message tone, etc. I want the device to make the tones, not send them through to the headset. There isn't an option to create a new profile.

go to bluetooth manager, then go to settings and select menu > advanced

in there, untick 'Use Hands-free for standard audio'.

If you want system tones to play through your bluetooth, then tick both 'Use Hands-free for standard audio' and 'Play audio notification'
