Default Deleting Exchange Email on Server

Hi,
I used to be able to Delete emails on my MotoQ and they would delete on the phone, and on the server. My phone "Reset" itself a little while back and I seem to have lost this. Anyone know where I can find this setting, or where I may be having my issue. I have tried quite a few things, with little success.

Thanks

Have you tried deleting the email account in your Q? Delete it, reset the phone, then set up the account again.

You can access the settings by highlighting the email account > menu > settings. Keep going through the pages until you get automatic send/receive. At the bottom: advance settings > when deleting mesages.

I tried that, but it won't let me delete the exchange account on the phone. It is greyed out. I tried going through the options, and I don't get that choice either.

If you are syncing using activesync. Go to Start- Activesync - Menu - Options- highlight Exchange Server - Click menu - Delete. Then go back to activesync - menu- add a server source and add the server info again.

Thanks guys,
that did it.

It didn't really properly delete. It rebooted after some time of the progress wheel spinning. When it came back, it tried Synchronizing, and I never was able to get in to verify the settings. While it was synchronizing I went to my Exchange Mail folder, and it was empty. The settings etc.. were still there though. So after a while it all came back due to the re-sync. Now emails are deleting off of the server when I remove them from the device.

Thanks again.
