Default CoPilot 7 for Moto Q9h

I am a newbee at this site.
I just bought and activated a Q9h from Rogers in Canada.
I thought I will add a GPS activated.
Rogers want me to but a data pacage and then pay $10 a month to
activate the GPS that is built in the Q9h.
I had a Copilot 4 many years ago for a PDA and can upgrade to CoPilot 7
for this phoner for $199.
Is this the right way to go, or would yopu advise mr to go with Rogers.

Anyone used Version 7 of CoPilot and could you share with me your opinions.

I am finding the nubers on the keyboar very small, bit I guess I will get used to them.
Can you have more than 1 alarm set up

Than you

Default I have Copilot 7

I use it on my Q( Global but need to get GPS started with Google maps or something like it and the intermediate driver discussed here http://www.everythingq.com/forum/mot...-13562-10.html . It is a much better interface than the pst and I am happy with it. The main drawback is it is a little intense with the menus i.e exit is buried 3 or 4 menus in.

Default CoPilot 7 with HOLUX GPSlim 240

I use CoPilot 7 with a Bluetooth Holux GPSlim 240 and it works fantastic! It is very accurate. I went to CoPilot 7 as I needed to have actual GPS coordinates, not just directions. I use it with Google Earth for locating World War I grave sites. It does also work very well as a normal GPS when driving. It provides many options such as speed, elevation, coordinates, routes - the whole package, thus many menus. Practice makes perfect!

There is a trick to getting the CoPilot set up on the Motorola Q with a Bluetooth GPS. DO NOT use the normal system of looking for and finding the Bluetooth device. Let CoPilot do that for you, or it will not work. If you have already tried that, you have to do a MASTER RESET of your phone and reinstall the software. So get it right the first time!

We have posted instructions but I am not sure which Forum. If any problems just ask and I will lend a hand.
