unfortunately WMP is part of the ROM, if a master reset doesn't clear up the issue..then it will need to be reflashed, and to my knowladge that is not an end user deal.

Any luck with this issue yet?

I'm having the same problem, no audio out of WMP or Tcpmp? Doesn't matter what I try to play, audio, video, etc. I get no audio out at all?

Thanks,
JP

does the device ring or alert when someone calls ? i had no sound anywhere except if somebody called or send me a sms/mms/email... tried tons of things and nothing helped, ended up doing a Master Reset which resolved the issue.

(this is not my way of saying do a MR, i am just saying how i "fixed" it)

Everything else works but the media players? Also can't preview ringtones in the sound settings?

I just figured it out I did a little more searching and found another thread about audio problems.

While in the media player I had to hold the scroll wheel in until the earpiece volume screen popped up and then turned that all the way up. Just scrolling the wheel to 100% volume in media player didn't do anything before. Now it all works!

Not sure how it got that way? It was working fine a few weeks ago.
