Can I uninstall ?

There are sone trial applications that came on my Q, such as MyCast Weather. I checked Unintall Apps, but only find the stuff I installed. Can you uninstall the trial junk they load on your Q ?

I tried seeing what I could figure out and I noticed that yes the Mycast weather is installed, and no I couldn't delete it either.

My guess is that its listed with the ROM files because I didn't find them. I believe, but I could be wrong as I don't use it much at all, that Resco Explorer can unmark ROM files and allow you to delete them.

I looked around with the "Hide hidden files" and "system files" unchecked on the File Manager, and found no folders or anything about the program.

Try Resco to find the folders. If not, I'd wait for someone else who might know more about this. Sorry if I'm not much help.

if it is in the ROM it will pop back up on the next power cycle

a lot of those default apps are indeed in the ROM and can not be un-installed.

if you see the program listed in

start
settings
remove programs

then you can remove it...if not then its probably a ROM program
