What is that busy looking symbol by the atenna? i keep getting it and i dont know what it is.. any help would be great

Means either you have no signal or the phone portion is off.
check in the wireless manager (hold the home key to open the quick list and select wireless manager)

No signal!
Soft restart the phone, should work. Though you may have to do that a couple of times.

Thanks for the Fast replies. I figured it had to so something with no signal. but i get good signal where i am and if i go to get on the internet or email it goes away and i have 3-5 bars of signal

I almost always get that when using tcpmp or wmp after awhile...

It could mean a number of things including but not limited to, the phone portion being off, you are roaming and its detecting the network, you are changing bands depending on where you are and what you are doing, issues with data service and network status. Most of the time its transient and it will not bug but if it continues, just reboot the device and it should be fine.

If the phone isn't turned off, it usually means that your phone is detecting a network, but hasn't quite finished registering it to your phone. Its just that, a busy looking symbol. It also shows that symbol when your phone is looking for signal.

I notice you have smart toolkit running. When I had that running in my phone it gave me the same problem. Not sure if they were directly related but I since removed it because that program is very unstable anyways. I'm waiting till next release. Its suppose to fix all the bugs. Try running w/o smart toolkit for a while and see what happens.

That may be the case......I have issues with circular form view appearing in the tasks of STK.....

A lot of my problems went away when I completely removed stk from my phone. No more random reboots or freezing. Can't wait till the new version comes out. Hope the developer doesn't abandon it. They keep pushing the release.
