It allows you to control a bluetooth equipped pc...like a remote control. I think it's greatest potential is during powerpoint presentations. But you can use it for anything, as it will allow you to move the cursor around the screen, run programs, etc...

The first time I figured it out, I thought it was pretty cool...but I'm dorky that way

For me...on my pc...i have a bluetooth icon in my system tray area. I right clicked the icon and selected "Add a Bluetooth Device." From that point, a "Bluetooth Device Selection" window pops up. After selecting my phone from the list and clicking next, I am given the choice of selecting which "Sevices I am Interested In." "PC Remote Control" is one of the choices, so I select it and click Finish.

From that point it is all about your phone. You open the Remote app on your phone, point it to your PC...AND...viola! You should be able to control your PC from as far away as your bluetooth connection will allow.

Hope this helps you (and others); however, please remember that your PC may handle BT connections differently, so YMMV.

Enjoy! (and feel free to share stories of hijacking your friends PCs)
