Default ATT Moto Q Unlockable to use with TMobile?

Forgive my lack of experience on the issue.

Our company has a Corporate account with ATT and I just got a Moto Q which I love compared to my old Treo 750 and Cingular 8525.

I was told we will be moving to T-Mobile, much to my displeasure. They have to talk to me first as I am the the person who handles IT, and technical issues with phones.

My question is, can I unlock the Moto Q Global from ATT to work with TMobile? I did a bit of searching but didnt find anything concrete.

Thanks for any help provided!!!

I am in a similar situation where I am able to get an ATT Moto Q9H from work. Got it unlocked without a problem and using it on T-Mobile without a single problem.

Why hate on T-Mobile? I've been using them since 2003 and I've been around the wireless block a few times. In my opinion, they are by far the best carrier.

I guess I cant really speak for TMobile other than what I have heard from friends. They may be better for all I know, but I personally have my doubts. I'm mainly concerned on how to unlock my Q9H from ATT to work with TMo.

Just call ATT and they will unlock for you. That's what I did. You do need an account with them. You can always use an unlocking service that sends you an unlock code. Plenty on ebay, but be weary of scammers though. I would look carefully at feedback.
