AT&T Q9 - duplicate sent email copies

I did a search but couldn't find anything, but if anybody can point me to it please do so =)

Been playing with this all day and I can't seem to figure it out. I have my aol email account setup on the Q's standard messaging/email setup. My aol account is setup as IMAP. So, whenever I send an email initiated from my Q it saves a copy of the outgoing email on my Q in the Sent Items folder. Then, when I synchronize again it creates another copy of the same sent message. Now, I can resolve it by unselecting "Save copies of sent messages" in the options. However, in doing so, it affects my text messages so that it doesn't save a copy of my sent text messages.

Help?! Is there any resolution for this? I really want to keep copies of my sent Text Messages but I don't want the duplicate sent emails because of it.

Anybody have any suggestions on this?
