I've been trying to find out if there's a way to put the phone on aircraft mode, so I can still use functions like listening to music and playing games while on board with out the phone getting reception. If anyone knows how to or if it's possible it would be much appreciated.

I just turn off the cellular antenna.

press and hold the home key until the quick list opens. select wireless manager and turn the phone portion off.

Press and hold the Home Page Key. Then click on Wireless Manager, then All. Turn off the phojne and the Bluetooth options; and you're in legal Flight Mode. See p 19 of the User's Guide.
