AIM & Contact Text Message Issues/Questions - Motorola Q Forum

Okay first things first, I'm new so i'm sorry if this AIM question has been asked and/or answered.

1) At first I had no problem signing onto AIM; however, lately i've been getting an Error 501 or 502 when I try to sign on. Has this happend to anyone else? Sometime's i'd get a Code 3 problem too.

2) Now this is my question about the Contact Text Message thing. Before I had my Moto Q 9h I had a V3 Razr and when I wanted to send a general text message to all my friends on the phone it would just let me go through the contact list and check mark them all and then go to SEND. Now is there a simpler way to do this on the Moto Q 9h? Because all i know is that i can only select one at a time and go back and forth and it becomes very time consuming and quite annoying.

1. No I haven't had that problem.

2. I believe you need Group SMS. Its a free app that will allow you to send messages to groups of people.

If anything use a different, multi-service client like IM+, Palringo, etc.

Can't help you with the AIM as I don't use my phone for IMs and stuff. But I do use it for texting on occasion and how I manage to get it out to everyone is that I create and keep a distribution list for different things and when I send the text to that distribution instead of an individual, they all get it. Hope it helps.
