this maybe a no brainer but are you hitting the fn key before typing a number?

Tried that.

The way is works is the program draws a keyboard on your screen.

The keys on the screen match the keyboard on the Q9h.

They say pick the calculator you want press enter, well the center button in my navigation ring.

I press 1,2 or any number I can not see it on the screen.

The screen does not show a data entry mod abc or alt but I thought well try to press the Fn button maybe .. but that does not work.

I think yes after I select a calculator it does not go into data entry mode.

I just tried this on my Q9M and quickly found out the key association is off by one key i.e. if you want to type 2 use the 1 key.

Haven't even tried to figure out the +, -, *, and / keys yet.

Going to email them and see what they say

Will keep you posted

Rick

EDIT: Just sent email 1-2 business days reply for the answer

i have learned from a software developer (birdsoft) that the Q9s have a different keyboard config
so what may work for the Q1 may not work for the Q9 even though it says WM6 compatable

Here is the email exchange from 1-Calc support (Thing is when I installed it asked for model of the device and they included the Q9M not sure what to make of this, though I believe Scott's info hit it on nail on the head)

Hi Rick

Thank you for your email. We are expecting a new version with additional keyboard compatibility very soon. If you have purchased and need us to send you a copy please let us have a copy of your email receipt and we'll be happy to do so as soon as it is released.

Best regards

Name: Rick
Device: Moto Q9M Version: Windows Mobile 6
Software:
O1Version: 3.2

Problem:

The keyboard mapping for this is off, on my Moto Q9M all the number keys
are mapped one key to the right of what they should be. If I want to
type 1 I have to hit the 2 key on the key pad

Please advise

Thank you for your time in this matter

I have alot of software that will not work on the Q9h....
It makes me sorta mad. WM6 is not the issue either. It is the Q9h.
the software in question works on the BJII. Put it on the Q and nothing....
