Voicemail Problem

After searching the threads, I have not seen this problem. It just happened today. I had no voicemails showing for the last few days, no biggie I thought just had not gotten any. Then all of the sudden this morning it showed I had 1 voicemail. No problem, well when I checked it, I had 6! They started back on Thursday last week and went through this morning. ANy dieas what could have happened? This worried me because I have a job where I am on call all day and night and missing calls is one thing but I need to know if messages are left. I feel like the only solution is to randomly check my voicemail which I should not have to do. Please help withany ideas or thoughts.

Just happened again, random check (showing no vm) upon checking had 2 waiting...any thoughts?

I have heard of this a few times with verizon phones

oh ok, I see now. I was mobile at the time.
I've never seen that with sprint, may want to try updating your vision profile or clearing your voicemail indicator. I'm not sure that either of those would work, but it's worth a shot. you could always call sprint, but I don't know how helpful they would be...

how do i update my vision profile? or clear my vm indicator?

for the vision profile
go to start > settings > PCS Vision
for the voicemail indicator
start > settings > phone settings

Well I did both items, so far so good today with it notifying me of voicemail. Thanks for the tips and I will see how it goes.

Just out of curiosity... what exactly is happening when i select "Update data profile" under the PCS Vision option tab?
