Anyone have any idea when Verizon is to offer the 9C?
All of the news releases I have read said that it was to be this month.
Every Verizon representative I have asked about this gets the "deer in the headlights" look and have no clue what a 9C is. I even called a store and asked about it, they said "yep, we have three of them". I stated to them "not the Q9m but the Q9C". "Yep, that's right" they said. So I go there 10 minutes later and get the "deer" look again.
This past weekend I did get one Verizon person say "yeah, we should get them by the end of the month, but that's just what I heard through the grapevine." So in other words, he had no clue either.
I had them for a while cause I needed signal in deep valleys of Pennsylvania. THEN I racked up a $700 bill in overage charges!! so I went with sprint, and noticed that whenever I'm on roaming, I'm still using Verizon towers, but for WAY less cash.
I figure, the only people not getting ripped off by Verizon, are those with good family plans or those who signed up years ago and keep getting discounts for loyal patronage.
Is there any super-secret deal I don't know about?
(I currently have Sprint SERO 500mins with roadside assistance $34/month)

Of course the overage was my fault, it's just that you never know how much yr gonna need to talk. You never know if yr gonna make new friends that want to talk yr ear off. All I'm saying is that sprint is more flexible with this kind of thing.
I should be more specific.
My verizon plan was charging 45 cents per minute overage charge which comes out to about 60 cents with all taxes included.
Use 500 overage minutes = $300
My Sprint plan charges $5 for each extra 50 minutes (about $6.50 with taxes)
Use 500 overage minutes = $65
