Default unrecognizable battery ?

It is quit annoying.

Every time when Q9c freezes up, I have to remove battery to reset it.
Then the battery icon will be changed to unrecognizable status
(with a cross on it). Although keeping charging it overnight will make
the battery recognizable again.

I just got the phone one month ago, it shouldn't be the battery's problem.

It there any hard keys to reset Q9c when it freezes up?
Removing battery everytime is quite stupid.

Any suggestion? thanks !

You can try pushing and holding the red power button to turn your Q off, but if the freezeup is bad enough, that won't work. Unfortunately, the battery pull may be your only option.

Interesting you post abot this. My wife's RAZR was just doing this a week ago. And while the phone indicated an unrecognized battery it eventually charged it and it worked fine. Weird.

I checked the list, it means "No battery". but I'm sure the battery was almost
full when this happened.

I work in a service and repair center and we just had a customer come in with this issue, it was weird... the battery tested out fine and we did a hard reset of the phone and still the same x'd out battery indicator. He was within his 30 days so we just swapped the phone out. I've never see that indicator on my Q9C... when the battery is low it just shows no bars, gives me warning messages and eventually shuts off.

I only get that when I use the Motorola BT60 battery otherwise the Motorola BT90 never has done that.
