 |  unknown indicator On the top of the screen, where the signal bars are...right next to/almost on top of the bars are arrows pointing in opposite directions...any idea of why they are there? I cannot find this indicator in the manual. Thanks |

 | it switches back and forth between data and voice mode as needed. No need to turn it off. like I said, only the PDA icon indicates data transfer, so the arrows (in theory) could be showing all day without transferring data. |
