i'll try explaining it the best I can. after turning on the phone between switching from the windows mobile screen to the homescreen there is sound that I have never noticed before. it actually sounds like the alert you get when plugging/unplugging the charger. my charger is not plugged in when this happens. any idea's or solutions?

its probably telling you that you have a text or voicemail

no notifications are showing and all messages have been read, and wouldn't I get that alert every so often as a reminder instead of just at startup?

usually as soon as my phone starts up and i have a sms/voicemail/email i get a sound as soon as i start it up

same here, but that usually happens after the homescreen has loaded,but this is happening between when the windows mobile screen switches to the homescreen and the screen isn't fully loaded.
I even deleted all texts, emails and there are no new voicemails and rebooted the phone and the sound is still there. I must say, i'm still running wm6 standard.
