well, I guess I won't know if the text messages saved until I can get to a pc. tried logging on to dashwire's site using opera mobile (using desktop mode) but didn't see any saved messages there, but I did read in the help section that it may not save text messages on the first syncing. it did however sync back my contacts and pics, which I could have cared less about seeing that the messages were more important.
