Arrow Rebooting and freezing problems

Has anyone else had a problem with the 9c rebooting all by itself? Sometimes it does when i'm in the middle of a phone call or an application. Mostly it will do it when it's just sitting all by itself. I'll hear the familiar tone letting me know that it's shutting down, then i pick it up an see that it is rebooting by itself.

What's the deal and is there any way to stop this crap?

Also, it will freeze up when i'm in media player.

This is a great phone, but i'm not keeping it if i have to put up with this crap. I paid too much for it.

I've had this issue myself also. Except mine never did a reboot during a phone call. I think it has frozen once.

Do you have email on your phone set to check for new emails? I ended up doing that a few days ago and so far no random reboots that I have seen.

Thanks for the response.
Do you mean set it to check for new emails? or set to not check for them? What exactly did you do?

tbh, there are a lot of expensive phones that have reboot or freeze issues (particularly since you can install pretty much whatever you want with smartphones).

But I don't have this problem.

I had it set to download emails every 15 mins. I turned that off about 2 days ago and have noticed 0 reboots.

Thanks for the help. I just set my email receiving options to "manual". I hope it works for me.

I've been struggling with this since I got my Q9c about a month ago. My USCC rep says that they (or Moto) is working on a fix. I really miss not having my phone check for emails automatically.
