Q funny behavior (won't play music) - Motorola Q Forum

I've got a sprint q 9c and for some reason it won't play music any more. I may have messed with a setting at one point and forgot. There is another symptom to my problem. When I'm choosing a ring tone for a contact or choosing my alarm ring it won't play. The alarm still works and the ringer still works but the other sounds seem to be turned off some how. I think if I do a master reset it will be fixed but dont' want lose all my data.

Any ideas?

Push in and hold scroll wheel until vol bar graph comes up on screen and see if that needs turned up :-)

think someone should make a post with the top 10 or so fixes that cant be replied to. that being one of them. Gmail setup, and so on. something like a FAQ post.
