Not charging while tethered

Might be a topic on this already, but a quick search yielded nothing.

I've read the many posts saying "it may take a few minutes for the phone to start charging" etc, but I have had my Q tethered to my MacBook Pro pretty much all day and it has not charged at all. Little help / insight?

Go to the Motorola website and look under Software and Downloads. There are some (updated) drivers in there for Apple computers that you can install that will charge your phone while plugged in through USB. Regarding your MacBook, I've heard that sometimes laptops won't charge through USB unless the laptop is directly connected to an outlet. Have you tried that?

Normally, if you just wait a few minutes, the phone starts charging without you even knowing it. I've had a few times when I connect my phone to my computer and the phone gives me a message that says that the USB connection does not have enough juice to charge my phone. A couple of hours later, the phone says "Charge Complete."

Thanks, I will try checking out their site. And my MBP was hooked up to AC all day as I was at work.

The odd thing is I have had it charge while tethered before. But lately it just isn't working.
